Hey Ram is a 2000 Indian alternate historical fiction political drama film which was simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi. The film was written, directed and produced by Kamal Haasan, who also acted as the protagonist in the film. The film's soundtrack and score were composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The plot centers on India's Partition and the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi by Nathuram Godse.
